The practice runs a number of clinics outlined below, These include acute consultations with the General Practitioners, Practice nurse-led clinic, chronic diseases clinic, Diabetes satellite clinic, chiropody clinic, physiotherapy, minor surgery, antenatal clinic, social support clinic and smoking cessation.

SMOKING CESSATION

Patients wishing to stop smoking. Please make an appointment.  Patients can also be seen at the Leeds Smoking services.  Patients can telephone for an appointment  on 01274 736996

Diabetes Level 2 Clinic

We are accredited Diabetes Level 2 provider. This involves looking after patients with poorly controlled diabetes or may well be on Insulin or injectable devices. This clinic is Led by Julie Horsfield, who is an exceptional Level 2 Diabetes nurse and manages patients with poorly controlled Diabetes with the input of Diabetic Specialist Nurse, Level 2 Dietitian and Podiatrist.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Monday and Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 16:00

Patients are referred to these clinics by the Doctors.

CHIROPODY/PODIATRY

Tuesday between 13:00 and 16:00

Patients are referred to these clinics by the Doctors.

DISTRICT NURSES

The District Nurses generally visits patients at home but may see them at the Local Authority Clinic.

ANTE-NATAL CARE

COMMUNITY MIDWIFE

Antenatal care and early postnatal care both at the surgery and in patients’ homes, and give advise on all pregnancy-related issues. Midwife clinics are based at our branch site and appointments are offered directly by the midwife time.

Health Visitor Clinic

The Health Visitor Clinic is now locality based. Health Visitors can be contacted on 01274 221223 and Westbourne Green Duty number 07525 872328.
